To kick start the project... I completely forgot about drawing actually, I went straight towards the photography route instead.
So David is doing a pretty creepy project this time, It`s all about the Transformations of urban Myths and Creepypasta kind of stuff. So he naturally wanted to go somewhere creepy-ish to go and do a photography session.
The only creepy-ish place that we could think of is actually an abandoned theme park, that could of possibly got us arrested actually... Luckily that didn`t happen and if it did, then I would be bloody screwed!
For starts, we had to walk for about an hour to get to this place, it`s called American Adventure and it closed down ages ago. I used to go there all of the time when I was younger but had completely forgotten about how big the site actually was. Everything has been knocked down and removed now, and you can still find some of the really creepy images on Google. The whole place is still fenced off, hence why if you get caught you can get arrested.
Just to clarify, we didn`t actually go in, we wanted to go in just so we could get some awesome creepy looking photos and then get out. There was a part of the fence that was completely torn down and people used to get in and muck around in there quite a bit, I just wanted to walk around the bloody lake! But yeah, we never did get the chance to get in to the actual place, but there`s still loads of pictures on google of what it looked like when there where still a few things there, but obviously I`m not going to use those images, I want my own!
The main idea was for David to get some really creepy looking pictures done for his project, and then for me to get images of nature dying and decaying naturally by itself. We are quite lucky since there is a public footpath that takes you down to the old American Adventure car park, and if you walk down the car park, there`s a footpath that takes you all the way around the site of American Adventure, but it takes a while to walk around. The whole footpath was surrounded by trees and bushes, so I could of gotten some good close ups of leaves and stuff if I wanted too. Instead... I went behind all of the bushes and trees, made my way down to a swampy bit and then started to get some photography work done down there. It was quite interesting to do actually, for starts, I felt like a big kid again; I used to climb trees and go for walks on the park and stuff when we first moved into our current house, so yeah, doing this little photography trip with David just made me feel like a big kid and I wouldn`t stop messing around whilst we where doing it.
It was really fun to do, I haven`t done photography like this before where you have to work together to get the best possible outcomes and I really enjoyed it. I felt like I was annoying David just a tiny bit though since I was dancing around and climbing through bushes all because I saw an interesting leaf. I`m looking forward to doing more stuff like the with David, the only problem is... I annoy him quite a bit!
Over all, there are 23 pictures that I took for myself and then David took about 26 photos. So as you may of guessed, I`m not going to upload 20+ photos on the blog. So most of the images will be on Deviantart so if you follow the link below you`ll be able to find the majority of them over there, I haven`t uploaded them all in one go yet, so the rest will be up over the next few days since I didn`t want to just bombard Deviantart art with tons of photos.
Keep on checking over the next few days to see the latest photography images and hopefully, some scanned in sketches that I`ve been doing!
